Azam Amir Kasav, also known as Mohammad Ajmal Mohammed Amin Kasab, looked confident in the photo above. It was taken as he walked into the Mumbai train station (CST) with the intent of killing as many people as he could. He and his partner finished their business at the station and moved on to their next target, Girgaum Chowpatty. They were stopped and engaged in a gun fight by police. Azam killed assistant police inspector Tukaram Umbale before he was shot. His partner was shot and killed during the gun battle. Azam played dead and the bodies of both men were picked up to be transported to the hospital. At some point, the police realized that Azam was breathing.
When the 21-year-old Azam arrived at the hospital he begged the medical staff there to help him. He told them that he didn’t want to die. It turned out that he was fluent in English and from from tehsil Gipalpura in Faridkot in Pakistan. He begged for his own life after indiscriminately taking the lives of whoever happened to be in the train station that morning.
After Azam’s bullet wound was treated, he was taken away by interrogators. Its reported that at first he was tight lipped, but it didn’t take long for intense questioning to loosen him up. Apparently, he has given investigators some vital information about the planning of the Mumbai attacks. He has told investigators that their plan was to blow up the Taj Hotel and they had enough explosives to do it. They wanted to create an Indian 9/11.

Now I’ve begun to believe its pure shit-it’s nothing but just another way in which the commoners get killed in the end – it’s just like a big war between the terrorists and the government – something that I now strongly believe, will never end.
However, terrorism will end soon; well it will have to when the Earth blows up and all…global warming you see… And that end is going to come much sooner than scheduled, for the main reason that now after all these Kasavs are muddling up our lives, we’ll be pooling all our extra resources into national security and blah blah blah…
Anyways, who gives a damn about alternative power sources when his life is in immediate danger? Instead, let’s be realistic; let’s be like, “Okhay, let’s face it” – the reality. We are all destined to die; the only difference is some go sooner than the others and terrorism is just another way in which people are dying – that’s about it.
I strongly believe that whatever happens is for the better and I will emphasize that even this time, despite the big-time destruction and loss, it happened for the better. It made our security forces stronger and made the country aware of its inefficacious politicians. It’s made us highly rebellious and imbued a sense of justice and democracy in us, it made us receive a taste of today’s harsh reality. We Indians deserved this – the country was becoming too sluggish and inactive and it needed a purpose to rise again, and here we are, back in bloody business!
I realized soon that its’ just that, I am gonna be a journalist if I don’t flunk and you are gonna be what you wanna, if you don’t flunk. So its’ more like, leave these issues to the people who DO flunk and get no other job. I mean our leadership is full of people, who couldn’t even sell cappuccino.
No truly, I’m not being like, you know, like pro-modern or acting extra-cool or anything…terrorism is just like a flood in Bihar….both kills 500/year.
Do you know that if 20% of Greenland melts Europe will go into ice age in the space of 10 years? And half of that 20% is complete? And if Europe goes into ice age so would Asia. And do you know an ice age is much colder than Jupiter with a temperature of -218 degree Celsius? Or Osama bin Laden’s heart?

thanxz mate! thanxz for wishing me to b one of the leaders, bt then i wud anyday choose anyfin bt leadership…bcos i tld ya, leadership today is full of people who flunk bigtym!
By the way, am jst a 16 year old chick…so maybe, am jus’ spending too much tym thinking abt ths stuff, its nt my cup of tea afterall…
By trait of my character, am ths extremely confused and fickle minded non judgemental perosn…and am always in two minds abt everyfin…so even for ths terrorism part, i was confused….whether to support the victims or the terrorists…and i din actually “support” anyone…i jst declared wat i felt.
I knw sum people here hate me for asking people to think abt “why” these terrorists chose this cruel path…but then tell me what can you do by all the more bloodshed and stuff? Nothing but again kill the commoners of, if not our country, but some other country,ryte?
Some one even asked me, how i wud feel if i wud be raped by someone…firstly, i wonder how classless u can b to ask me such a question…
u hv to udnerstand taht i AM commisserating the death of so many people…am NOT disregarding that…what am saying is what we should think AFTER taht…thinking abt these terrorists comes AFTER thinking abt our victims…u failed to understand my point.Well, thats your fault.

If EVERY muslim is NOT a terrorist, the how come you summed up that every terrorist IS a MUSLIM?…..and you signed off yourself as a PROUD INDIAN!…..you must be a very very pround Indian National!…..
With that proudness to be INDIAN National, you see yourself obligated to KILL?…..I am not defending terrorist, but if that guy Kasav is wrong in killing in the name of anything he is for, then if you also kill, that never makes you right!…..
