KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 12 (Bernama) — Umno Supreme Council member Azalina Othman Said said PAS candidate in the Kuala Terengganu parliamentary seat by-election, Mohd Abdul Wahid Endut, should not be so greedy as he was already a state assemblyman.
“Even if he loses in the by-election, he will still remain the Wakaf Mempelam assemblyman,” she said. Azalina said what was happening now was that certain opposition state assemblymen were also members of parliament, making them too busy to attend parliament session at times to discuss problems faced by the people they represented.
“That’s why in parliament, now you see them, now you don’t. Sometimes they don’t even have enough time to go to the ground to meet the people as they are rushing here and there. So, I hope they won’t be so greedy,” said Azalina, who is also
Tourism Minister, after launching the “Visit Zoo Negara Year 2009″ programme, here, Monday.
In the by-election, Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh is facing Mohd Abdul Wahid from PAS and an independent candidate, Azharudin Mamat @ Adam.
Azalina said Wan Ahmad Farid, the Kuala Terengganu Umno division chief, had served as deputy minister before and hence, was a better candidate than the other two to represent the people of Kuala Terengganu.

girls as your partners, then you are actually depriving eligible bachelors, a choice from a wider pool of girls. Please share with us, don’t be greedy.
Sayang, beauty should be adored from far, but in the creations of god, He has been most unfair to you. Whether near or far, you still look the same to us. Sayang, you are an MP and a minister, how do you juggle both the jobs, and yet have time for other womanly recreations?
Perhaps you should pay us a visit during one of your overseas trips, we can share with you the secrets of hooking a man. A decent man that is! Don’t have filthy ideas in your mind!
